Mom & Me Lunch

Auntie Momma Banilla, Cindy, and me were hosting a Mommy & Me Brunch with stuff we got from our Farms. It was hard work harvesting all the stuff and making all our ingredients. I had made the quiche, fruit salad, and apple juice. I had just one more thing to make. Momma Melly helped me with the cookies. I didn't want to use magic with cooking the cookies. I kinda used some to put the quiche in the oven and out again. I used a plastic knife to cut the fruit. It didn't work very well but it got it done.

Anyways I heard that if you made cookies without magic the cookies were more special because they were made with love. So I ask Momma Melly if she'd help me make the cookies. She said she'd love to. We were both in our special brunch dresses as we made cookies. I got a little flour on mine but cleaned it up with a bit of fae magic.

With the cookies all done and the brunch set up. I gave Momma Melly a card I made while she changed dress. I got lots of flour on her other one when I hugged her.

Flower Crown

Papa was dusting off all his crowns when I walked from my playroom across the balcony to his room. He was humming something and I wanted to know what the song was but didn't want to interupt him. I guess he saw me as he placed mine and Benji's crowns back on the shelf. "How about we go make you a crown to lay in."

I liked this idea and jumped off the balcony and headed for the forest edge where all the best flowers grow. I picked a few and brought them to Papa. "Will dese do, Papa?"

Papa made the flowers into sunflowers so it would be easier for us to make the crown. He showed me how to twist the stems of the flowers together to make a daisy chain. I tried to do a few but it's harder than it looks. After we finished, I asked him to turn them blue again to match my outfit.

My Crown is a bit big but at least it looks good with my romper from Little Absinthe.

Uncle Jim & The Not-So-Greasy Grease Monkey

I got to spend the day with Uncle Jim. He didn't have much in the way of kids' stuff, but he did have really cool stuff. I found a pair of his shoes and a blue tie to walk around in. I liked the clomping sound they made.

Next, I went outside to see what I could find to do. I found a stack of tires they looked fun but were neatly stacked. Well sort of. I decided that might not be a good idea. I headed into the garage. I didn't know Uncle Jim had a bike. I wanted to climb on it but if it fell I would get hurt so I didn't.

I spied a box of Uncle Jim's tools. They were very greasy and yucky. They needed to be cleaned. I looked for some cleaning stuff. I found that can of foamy stuff that Papa and Papa Brat use to clean the hair off their face. If it takes the hair off them it should take the grease off right?

Uncle Jim found me in the garage and chuckled a little. "What are you doing there Missy?" he asked.

I looked up "I keaning your tools." I replied. He laughed some more. Picked me up and put me on the sink.

"That's for your face. Here, let me show you." He let me spray some in his hands as he fluffed it on my face like a white beard. He let me wear his hat to take a selfie. Then, he used a plastic scraper to gently take it off like the Papas do. It felt funny.

After I was all cleaned up we went for a piggyback ride. Then he helped me make tea party table and chairs out of tires and crates. We didn't have tea though. We had root beer and a cookie called a "moon pie." I can't wait for mine and Uncle Jim's next adventure. He really does have cool things to play with.
