Momma's Princess

Momma was unpacking the new house we moved into. I got a room all to myself downstairs. After we finished my room, Spicey was decorating her room in the attic. Momma moved on to help Lyra and Makenzie set up their rooms. Lyra used magic to set up her wizard room. Makenzie was having a cowgirl house. I got a business of ferrets in my room. Lyra has a three-headed dog, and Makenzie gots two ponies.

I guess I was getting in the way a bit because Momma asked me to go play somewhere else. So I did. I went into her room to look for stuff to play dress up with. Would you believe it! Momma had not unpacked her clothes, all that was unpacked was her shoes. So I found the pair I liked best and started clomping around upstairs.

Momma must have wondered what I was getting into. She saw me and gave me a little chuckle as she picked me up. "What are you doing little Missie?"

"I paying dwess up Momma," I replied.

She just laughed again and picked me up giving me big snuggles.

Elf Houses

Spicey and I tore into the presents that we found the next day. We weren't really sure how the big things got in such little boxes but we both decided it was "Elf Magic." We set out to put together the play kitchen I got for Christmas. It was a perfect fit.

Then we set up our dollhouses. I mean Elf Houses. After all the tiny baby elves did need a place to stay while they were with us. So we got their input into what pieces of the doll house should be used. Jingles and Crank helped Spicey while Cinnie and I designed her house. There had to be placed for three elves as we never knew when the elves would visit each other.

After Cinnie and I finished her house, we sat and enjoyed a warm cup of Christmas tea. This is the best Christmas Eeeeeverrrrr! I got a new doll house, kitchen furniture AND an Elf friend named Cinnamon (Cinnie for short) to live with me.

Last Minute Surprise

Spicey and I had some last-minute shopping to do before Christmas. We each took our sleighs and headed to the Fireflies Scout Market. We found a few things there to finish up our list and headed home. I forgot my rope lead so I had to push mine up the hill. Who knew a few dresses and toys could weigh so much? I wish I had not agreed to not use my magic.

When we arrived at the playhouse, we unloaded our sleighs. Spicey found the boxes, wrapping paper, and other needed supplies to wrap our gifts. While she did that I brewed us some tea and brought it by the fire. We fixed up our pressies all nice and neat for our family and friends.

We sat back and enjoyed the rest of our tea and played with Spice's furry friends. Before long we passed in our chairs and slept through the night. Spice shifted once and went back to sleep. I thought I had smelled sweet cinnamon and peppermint as I slept. I do love those smells.

When we woke up we each found a wagon of pressies for us. Santa had also left a few baby elves behind for us to help out. How could we say no? My elf friend is named Cinnamon and Spicey's is named Jingles. I hope we take good care of them. So that Santa will leave us a nice present next year when he comes back for them.
