Why Can't I Share?

Spring is here and I love spending time down by the lake with the dolphins. They are soo much fun to play with. We play with my new swimming toys and I even pet them while I play games on the floating game table we have. I've gotten really good at floating.

After a while of playing in the water. I decide to sit and relax for a while. Edd comes out to check on me and give me the news that Papa should be returning to the Kingdom soon. I have missed him while he has been away. Don't get me wrong I loved it while Edd was in charge. We had lots of fun stuff to eat.

I let Edd know that I was a little hungry from all the playing I did by the lake with the dolphins. He brought me a big bowl of goodies and three scoops of ice cream. I headed over to share the ice cream with my two dolphin friends. He quickly scooped me up and put me back over by the table. "You can't share that with the dolphins." he told me.

"But why?" I asked.

"Because these are for the dolphins." He stated as he handed me a bowl with special treats for the dolphins. Edd thinks of everything.

Enjoying Spring

So I got up early this morning and headed out not worrying about being in my pajamas still. It was a nice morning and a good day to make daisy chains. I headed out to the gardens with my favorite dolphin blanket and a few snacks.

Once I had my blanket all laid out, I gathers some daisies and other flowers from the grassy area. The gardener hates it when I pick the good flowers. I laid on my blanket and began making my chains. Papa taught me how last year. I miss my Papa when he goes traveling for the kingdom. I think he gets lost and forgets where home is sometimes.

I had just finished my last chain when I heard a whimpering bark from the gazebo. I got up to see what it was. I could not believe it. Uncle Azi's pet doggie got out and the poor thing was being laughed at by the garden gnomes. I think the pixies, imps, and gnomes were playing tricks on the poor thing because he couldn't get the ears off.

I picked him up and put him on the table and scolded the bullies. Then I took the ears off and gave him a bit of love. After that, we went back to my blanket for a nap. Don't worry I put up a magical barrier so that those mean bullies couldn't get to the puppy and me during our nap.

Dolphin Chats

"With everyone away from home, I have to take care of things. That's a lot for a little one like me. I'm the Princess in charge and no one listens to me." I tell my dolphin friend. "I order a cake for breakfast and I get pancakes. It wouldn't be so bad if I got candy or icing on top instead of sugar-free syrup."

I shifted to float more on the water and think about how I could fix this. "Wait!" I say out loud. "Do they think Caly is in charge? It would explain all the sugar-free stuff." I think some more on how to fix this problem but nothing comes to mind. Then all of a sudden I have it...
