Flying Lessons

Uncle Azi was watching me while Papa and Daddy when to dance rehearsal with Miss Mari. I don't get to go to the shows because I'm too little but that's okay cause it means more time with my favorite demon uncle. Uncle Azi and I have lots of fun. He lets me do things that Daddy would say no to but Uncle Azi doesn't let me get hurt.

Tonight Uncle Azi said he had a special treat for his small lady. Small Lady is wall Papa and Uncle Azi call me sometimes. "You want to learn to fly, my small lady?" I clapped excitedly. I love to fly. I kissed Uncle Azi's nose.

He started out slow at first and I fell back and hung upside down as he went up. "Higher! Uncle Azi. Higher!" I love when Uncle Azi hangs me upside down. It's so much fun. He never drops me though sometimes he pretends to.

He took me up higher and then we flew around for a bit. Uncle Azi let me go and I caught myself with my wings and flew for a few. As I started to drift a wind current got me and Uncle Azi rescued me. He held me tight in his arms as we drifted back down to the ground.
