It Looks Like Christmas to Me

So Uncle Brat started decorating the house on Thanksgiving. There were all kinds of pretty decorations around the house. I started helping him and even decorated myself a bit. Then Papa came home and he changed me into a new dress with little pink Christmas trees on it.

After dinner, I decided to lay down under the tree. Papa came over and laid down with me. "What you thinking, Small Lady," he asked.

"I tinkin bouts all de toys Santa donna brings me and why all de lights sparkle." I replied. Papa then started telling me all about Yule. When he was done I replied. "Santa still donna tum cuz him nose me. Besides Papa, Yule sounds a lot like twismast to me."
