Uncle Jim & The Not-So-Greasy Grease Monkey

I got to spend the day with Uncle Jim. He didn't have much in the way of kids' stuff, but he did have really cool stuff. I found a pair of his shoes and a blue tie to walk around in. I liked the clomping sound they made.

Next, I went outside to see what I could find to do. I found a stack of tires they looked fun but were neatly stacked. Well sort of. I decided that might not be a good idea. I headed into the garage. I didn't know Uncle Jim had a bike. I wanted to climb on it but if it fell I would get hurt so I didn't.

I spied a box of Uncle Jim's tools. They were very greasy and yucky. They needed to be cleaned. I looked for some cleaning stuff. I found that can of foamy stuff that Papa and Papa Brat use to clean the hair off their face. If it takes the hair off them it should take the grease off right?

Uncle Jim found me in the garage and chuckled a little. "What are you doing there Missy?" he asked.

I looked up "I keaning your tools." I replied. He laughed some more. Picked me up and put me on the sink.

"That's for your face. Here, let me show you." He let me spray some in his hands as he fluffed it on my face like a white beard. He let me wear his hat to take a selfie. Then, he used a plastic scraper to gently take it off like the Papas do. It felt funny.

After I was all cleaned up we went for a piggyback ride. Then he helped me make tea party table and chairs out of tires and crates. We didn't have tea though. We had root beer and a cookie called a "moon pie." I can't wait for mine and Uncle Jim's next adventure. He really does have cool things to play with.

Rodeo Shopping

So I have a bit of extra canny money this month. I decided it was time to go shopping to redecorate my treehouse. I got dressed and when shopping Rodeo style. Okay so I really went to Petit Chat but it feels like Rodeo Drive. There were lots of nice things there for my treehouse. Deciding what to get would be a challenge.

I got a shopping card and headed out to find what I was looking for. I found this really nice table and chair set, but it was a bit too small and more my bubby Edd's style. I'll have to come back for his and Kaige's anniversary or birthday for it. But today is treehouse shopping. I come across a crate table, sofa, and stool set. This is perfect for my treehouse. I grab the tags for what I want and head to the register.

I hand the tags to the nice lady at the register and she magically makes them fit in tiny shopping bags. "Thank you, Miss. I'll be back next time I have canny money to get more."

Once home, I unpack my bags and set up my furniture. I head to the kitchen for snacks as I call Spicey, Makenzie, and Lyra to come over and hang out.

Snow Day

I woke up this morning and saw all the white snow. I just couldn't wait to get outside to play in it. I quickly got dressed in my new snowflake dress with a matching headband and shoes. Then I ran outside to play in the snow. You are probably wondering where my coat is? Who needs a coat? Besides, it would only hide this wonderful dress.

I built a snowman on a nearby pile of snow. When I finished decided to lay on the pile and catch snowflakes. While I was catching snowflakes on my nose and tongue, two squirrels came closer and closer. When they saw that I wasn't moving they dove into the snow. I guess I was on top of their winter nuts stash.

I played outside for many hours no one seemed to notice. Since Papa and I now live in the Fae Realm there is a lot more magic. As I was enjoying my day I started missing Daddy and somehow conjured up a balloon. I jumped in and started floating away to see Daddy.

Don't worry I didn't make it too far. It seems that the magic alerted Papa and Uncle Azi and they popped in and pulled back the balloon. "Small Lady, Just where do you think you are going?" Papa asked.

"I was going to see Daddy." i reply "You said I could go whenever I wanted."

"Yes, but you have to wait until he's home to go. Remember he's on a very long vacation."

"Oh, yeah." I sigh kinda sad. I hug Papa and he takes me inside for some hot cocoa and marshmallows.
